How Much Do Denture Implants Cost?

in Denture Implants Cost

Are you interested in denture implants but are wondering about how much denture implants cost?  We will give you the average national cost for denture implants and also tell you about the different factors that can effect the price of installing denture implants. If you are not already familiar with this new technology you may want to read our article answering the question, “What are denture implants?”

First of all lets go over the average dental implant cost which is about $12,000 – $15,000 dollars.  We understand that there is a $3000 dollar margin in this figure, but the reason for this is because of the following factors that can effect the price.  The first factor that can actually LOWER the price is by using mini denture implants which can shave $3,500 – $4,500 off the final price on average.  The main reason for this is because less metal is being used as the metal is one of the most expensive parts of the procedure.  Another reason is that installing the mini implants is a much easier procedure and takes a lot less time for the installer.

The main factors that effect dental implants cost is the area in which you live, the experience of the dental implant installer, and if you have existing teeth that need to be removed.  The West and Midwest  areas of the country seem to have the lowest average price for implant supported dentures.  Just like with anything else you get what you pay for, so even though a dentist may seem expensive, if they have a lot of experience it would definitely be worth the money to use them.

This price tag may seem out of this world expensive to some, but let us consider a few things before throwing the idea of getting denture implants out the window.  The first thing to consider is that most dental plans will cover some of the cost of this procedure.  That would greatly reduce the final price tag and most dentists and surgical installers have payment plan options to make a procedure like this affordable.  Another thing to think about is how much will you spend if you don’t have this procedure done.  What we mean is that adhesive dentures are expensive and there have been recent reports of adhesive poisoning which would quickly add up to far more than the $15,000 price tag for denture implants in doctor bills.  Without denture implants you cannot break your food down and cannot eat the things that are healthy for your body.  Stomach issues and doctor bills can once again add up to much more than the implant price.  By getting affordable denture implants you can have much better overall health and it will pay for itself over the years by eliminating the costs of adhesives and doctor bills caused by the adhesive dentures.
